I’m one of the opening MC’s for the 11th Annual City Shorts! :D
Hope to see you guys at 11th Annual City Shorts Student Film Festival on Thursday at 6PM. As the Social Networking Manager, I’ve been working on this since January, and I’m pleased to say we’ve received over $1000 worth of donations, freebies, and cash prizes.
(subliminal message: FREE FOOD!)
In addition, I’ll be one of the opening MC’s! If you can make it, be sure to dress to impress so people know you’re with me. You can find info about the event at facebook.com/cityshorts or you can follow us at our site at cityshorts.tumblr.com

Extra: Be sure to check out the article featuring my “EYE” logo in tomorrow’s SFWeekly.
My new film, “County”. Check it out.
Synopsis: After a bitter fight, Micah and Delilah decide to salvage their relationship by taking a weekend getaway to Humboldt County. But when Micah’s memories bring the past into the fore, things are not what they seem.
Starring:
Mike Hill as Mikah
Deirdre Garner as Delilah
This was an editing experiment, in which I crafted a story around my vacation footage.
Shot on a Canon 7D 28-135mm
Color correction was minimal, I exaggerated the blacks and whites to try to give it the latitude of film, but most of the color was done in camera.
All sounds were done in post.
THERE’S A ROBOT CHASING ME! - New short film by Erick Steiner
Watch it in full HD here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGWXTCrwDds
Synopsis: Jak Manstein and his girlfriend Summer are being held captive…by a ROBOT! Will they escape?

Running Time: 4:21
This was a project for my Directing class: to shoot a 4 minute sequence-shot entirely in one take that focuses on dramatic beats. This was the finished product. Shot on the Canon 7D w/ 50mm lens and a Glide Cam. All audio was re-recorded in post.
Special thanks to everyone who made this project possible!
